One email set my life on an unexpected path...

Dear Candace,

I’m sure you’re getting flooded with messages, but I wanted to attempt to stand out among the rest and just get right to the point. I won’t attempt to woo you in a message. I won’t try to impress you with boastful words. If you're on this site for mind-blowing sex, and a lot of it, then I would venture to say that trying to impress you with well worded niceties is of no value. Instead, I’ll tell you what I’m looking for and if you're looking for something similar then I look forward to your reply.

I like to f*ck. Hard. I like to f*ck slowly. I also enjoy making love. I like to be pleasured. I love to give pleasure. I like to laugh. I like to make others laugh. I love the female body and testing its limits. I love a lover who will explore new things without shame or embarrassment. I want to make a woman come so hard and in so many ways that her body designs its own special language just for mine.
I hope to possibly learn what you like, too.

Regards,
Brisban C.

My reply will change everything I thought I knew about SEX.

SEXY AND HOT AND HITS THE SPOT!  (Wink, Wink)

This book may burn up your kindle! My kindle is acting a little funny today!

I had the opportunity to read an ARC of this book and I am blown away (wink, wink).  Brisban and Candace are H-O-T together.

As an avid read, I read at least 3-4 books a week, and have ready PLENTY of erotic novels.  We all need a little fun in our lives and reading about Caroline and Brisban did that for me. You may even need to put the book down half way through and "discuss" it with your partner, husband or maybe even yourself.

Brisban, "I want a woman.  Not a girl. I'm very much a man and I want a woman to pleasure and to pleasure me...I want to be the first man in a long time who makes you scream out in orgasm."

This is a series and a quick read, (which isn't my favorite, but I knew that going in) but no worries, Kathryn will be releasing Volume 2 in July. Seriously looking forward to seeing how Kathryn can possibly make this even hotter.

(Sorry for the overuse of "!" in this post, but they are necessary!)

Come Sundown

Coming of Age

Erin Evans is the kind of girl no guy wants to be in a relationship with. She’s controlling and never backs down when she thinks she’s right.
Knowing this, and rightfully fearing her last few years in her twenties will be like the last five, she looks for some adventure.
That’s when her best friend convinces her to go on vacation with her to the Bahamas.
On the land of white sand, coconut rum, and a cloudless sky, what she never expects is to meet Tyler Weston, a local bartender with a sweet tongue for the pretty girls. He’s tattooed, entertaining, and living the dream in paradise as he sets her drinks and her world on fire.
As the moon lights the city, Erin unexpectedly becomes infatuated with Tyler and his bartending skills when he offers her the challenge of trying his Black Magic drink her first night on Paradise Island.
Hoping to get some more alone time with Tyler, she sets out on a mission to try every drink on the menu while on vacation. And after one night and one Black Magic drink, both of which she can barely remember, results into two weeks of exciting possibilities she never saw coming.
Can Erin put aside her cynical side and let the dirty-mouthed bartender show her what island life and love are really like?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What a sweet love story.  Not too much angst but not all love stories need angst. So many books out today are the same angsty love affairs that make me want to scream! This book is NOT one of those books.

Erin has hit a bump in the road.  Finding the man of her dreams isn't working out the way she would have hoped.  She's a bit controlling and no man is interested in that.  She has the opportunity to go on vacation with her BFF and her new fiancee.  Not exactly what I want to do when trying to get out of a depression but her best friend wants to help her.

Once in paradise Erin stumbles into an island bar and within moments, knows that Tyler will change her life forever. He's the laid back "island boy" and she's the uptight, list writing, OCD "city girl". But like they say, opposite's attract and this book is the classic example of that.  Watching their relationship grow in just 11 days is sometimes not believable in books, but Chelsea's writing makes you a believer in love at first sight!

Tyler, "We are all going to die someday.  That doesn't matter.  How you live matters. It's making it worth it."

Erin has a few issues to deal with, as does Tyler, which makes this a sweet love story.  It's not all sweet, there is some VERY VERY steamy love scenes in this book.  You will never look at a headboard in a hotel room again the same way!

The fact that Chelsea has both points of view in the book made it even better.  Getting inside both Erin and Tyler's head, made the characters more "real" for me.  It made me feel what they were feeling which is such an important part of reading for me.

At times the book was predictable but Tyler and Erin's story took a few twists and turns that kept me reading and falling in love with Tyler along with Erin.

With each chapter there is a drink recipe...it's a perfect book for the summer! After reading this book, I want to go to a tropical island and have some drinks!

New Adult Romance

Paisley Bronson is a 27 year old successful advertising professional, but the most exciting part of her life happens outside of work. Claiming the life of a Tag Chaser toward the end of her college career has taught her one thing: Never get too close. She has enjoyed her dating lifestyle, but when her best friend makes a bet that she won't ever be able to date a normal guy, her competitive nature takes control and she vows to change the game.

When Paisley meets the incredibly handsome and practically perfect Corbin Ray, she begins to think keeping her word might be easier than she thought. But when an accidental discovery reveals that Corbin is in the Army, she knows she must run the other way and never look back. Although it kills her, she aims to move on and look for a new prospect.

There's just one small problem.

Paisley's been assigned a new client at work, and his name is Corbin Ray.

Will Paisley and Corbin give in to the chemistry between them, or will their past and present complications keep them apart?

Fall in love with this fun and irresistibly naughty game of cat and mouse.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

OMG! Where do I begin. I loved this book. Paisley and Corbin's journey to love was incredible to read about. My favorite part of the whole book was that it didn't start easy. Paisley had her bet with Kenz that hindered her journey with Corbin.

The way the characters were described was incredible. You could relate in some way to one of the characters. Tanner being the best friend in love with Paisley. Always there for her when she needs him most but in the back of his mind always wishing he was HER guy. McKenzie (Kenz) the outgoing girly girl best friend. She has her own "relationship" but she's the kind of girl that just wants to have fun. She gets all her fun but at the end of the night she's going home with Derek. Now we get to Paisley,  the girl with a past that wrecked her for other guys. The girl with a million walls up and won't let anyone in, even her best friend Kenz. She's all the insecurities of the world but blames them all on one person and that one person lead her to becoming a TAG CHASER. It all leads her to Corbin, Mr. "Dreamboat". He has a few secrets of his own. He opens up to Paisley about his dream but is her God in bed. I love that Kandi didn't really stick to the typical descriptions of the characters. These characteristics are more relateable to readers. I'm sure you know someone or you, yourself could relate to one those characteristics.

Seeing the journey Paisley went on with Corbin absolutely melted my heart. I was falling for him as fast as Paisley, minus the walls. I was leery of him when Paisley was. I loved all the "battles" Paisley had to overcome to get to the end. I loved all the "twist" and "surprises" that came with each secret. They are what made Paisley and Corbin, they are what made the story. You felt Tanner's pain with hearing about Corbin from Paisley knowing he wasn't that guy putting that smile on her face. You felt Kenz's paining for wanting to know why Paisley is Paisley but Paisley not opening up to her. It was full all this emotion, some in a way hidden but I loved it.  In a few ways, I really found myself relating to Paisley. Having all the walls and insecurities. Being afraid to fall and let someone in. In my mind, her walls and insecurities lead to her slight "trust" for Corbin. Even though he had ALL the moves and I mean all the incredible moves. You still always got the sense for his "secrets".

I put all the quotations because they are the words I chose to use to describe those events and items without giving away spoilers. In the end, I absolutely loved this book and can not wait for Song Chaser. To read Tanner's story. I think Kandi Steiner has become one of my new favorite authors. :)

Romantic Suspense

Seventeen years old when he broke my heart.
Seventeen days later when another picked up the pieces.
Seventeen years together.
Seventeen thousand problems.
Seventeen days of reliving my past and finding a new future.
Seventeen minutes until it all went up in flames.
Seventeen breaths until I took my last.
This is my story…and it’s going to burn.
-----------------------------------------------------
Early Release and yup...I read it already!

Wow, this is HOT one.  If you are used to the funny, quirky Tara Sivec from the Chocoholic Series, this a book for you, this book was a little more steamy then the Chocoholic series. This story is a love story, a long time coming. Collin and Finnley dated in high school, but Collin ended the relationship (poorly, I might add) and Finnley fell in love the "new guy" Jordan.  After seventeen years of (a not so great) marriage and giving up her dreams, she decides it's her time to live.  She has never forgotten about Collin, but as fate steps in, she doesn't need to forget, he's back and this love story gets HOT, quick.

Tara has you at the get go with this book.  The relationship starts off quickly and with a BANG! I read this book pretty quickly because I couldn't put it down. The last few chapters had me reading til late in the night, the writing is perfection, and I felt as though I was with Collin and Finnley in a pivotal moment of their lives, the night that changes everything. She had me on the edge of my seat (well, my bed).  I couldn't put it down because I just had to know how this ended before I went to sleep.

Another five star book for me from Tara Sivec!

I am wondering if we will hear a little more about some characters from this book again...D.J. and Phinna. Book 2, Tara Sivec?
